Ball Mill:
The working principle of ball mill is mainly based on the movement of grinding mediums (such as steel balls, or steel rod) inside the cylinder to crush and grind materials. Ball Mill grinds materials by rotating a cylinder with steel grinding mediums, causing the balls(rods) to fall down into the bottom of cylinder and onto the material to be grounded. The rotation is usually between 4 to 20 revolutions every minute, depending upon the diameter of the mill cylinder. The larger the cylinder diameter, the slower the rotation. If the peripheral speed of the mill is too fast, it begins to act like a centrifuge and the balls(rods) do not fall down, but stay on the perimeter of the mill cylinder. It makes grinding index not good enough. The point where the mill becomes a centrifuge is called the "Critical Speed", and ball mills usually operate at 65% to 75% of the critical speed.

Working principle:
A ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device driven by rim gear wheels. It has two rooms and net. The material passes into the first chamber through the feed inlet.
